BUS ESCORTS
The role of a Bus Escort is to safely assist our service users in travelling to and from the centre. This involves supporting service users from their home and onto our mini buses either in the morning, afternoon or both.

MINIBUS DRIVER
Transport to and from the centre is an important part of Mid-Lin's services. Drivers also support us by helping drive for our outings and trips. Minibus drivers will drive a planned route, picking up or dropping off service users en route. You will be required to have a D1 driving license. Drivers are required in the morning, afternoon or both.

SOCIAL CARE ASSITANTS
Social Care Assistants can assist with tidying the centre, help prepare daily activities and read volunteer notice board for any updates regarding daily rota assigned tasks. On arrival/departure of service users, carers are to meet the bus in the car park and assist with the safe exit/entry of service users. Patience is required as some of the Service Users have mobility problems.

Volunteers will be given the opportunity to assist the cook with general kitchen duties, some food preparation, the serving of meals and basic kitchen hygiene. All volunteers will receive training and are required to complete a course at Elementary Food Hygiene Level 1.

DOMESTIC ASSITANTS
We have opportunities for domestic assistants. Each person will be responsible for the general cleanliness of communal areas to include toilets, corridors, reception and one small and one large hall. Volunteers would be encouraged to obtain a Moving & Handling and a First Aid qualification.
